Bossaball @ Community Sports Festival 2008!

The “Community Sports Festival 2008” is a series of
sporting events championed by the People’s Association - Constituency
Sports Clubs. It is a collaborative project with the 5 Community
Development Councils. North East CDC will be hosting the official launch on
21 March at 9am.
Bossaball is being showcased to the community for the
very first time. North East residents will be able to view game
demonstrations by the “Bossaball Tribe”. There are also tryouts sessions
and sports clinics for those who wants to know more on how to play the
game. The event highlight will be the 5-on-5 mini league.

Bossaball @ Get Into It! Sports Clinics 2008

Wanna know what’s bossaball is all about?
Why not “Get Into It!” by joining us for the “Learn
To Play” bossaball sport clinics happening throughout the year and
beginning in March 2008. You’ll be introduced to the basics of bossaball
sport including; An Overview Of The Sport, How To Play The Game, The Rules
Of The Game, The Scoring System etc. Each session will end with a friendly
bossaball showdown among the participants.

Bossaball @ SportOn!

Bossaball is being featured in SportOn! website, a
dedicated sports portal for the youth of Singapore. It is an initiative of
Singapore Sports Council’s Youth Sports Development Division and will be
launched on the 8th March during the Youth Sports Conference 2008.
SportOn! provides a wide array of information on various
sports and its accompanying activties including; tryouts, clinics, leagues,
tournaments, workshops, seminars and conferences.

Congratulation Singapore! for successfully clinching the
host city title to organize the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2010.

Singapore Sports Council & Republic Polytechnic
is jointly organizing a 1½ day youth oriented sports conference known as
the “Singapore Sports Conference
2008 : Youth & Sports - Charting the Road Ahead”. Bossaball will be
doing a one day road-show to introduce and promote the sport to the youth
of Singapore. Registration for “Bossaball : Get Into It! Sports Clinics
2008” will also be taking place.

Bossaball Mini League @ Anderson Secondary Sports Event!
|
|
Anderson Secondary will be the first school in Singapore
to host a bossaball league. It will be held on their Cross Country and
Sports Carnival Day 2008. More than
10 teams will face-off and vie for the glory to be the inaugural
bossaball champion. Also included
in the one day sports event are bossaball demonstrations, clinics and
tryouts.

Waikiki2008 - Club Bahamas!

Bossaball will be featured at Singapore Management
University Sports Union signature annual beach games carnival - The Waikiki
2008.
Bossaball game will be open to the general public for a
free “must try” session. Other highlights include demonstration by
Bossaball Singapore Team and friendly bossaball competition for SMU Waikiki
Challenge.
